IATO ELECTIONS HELD ON 12TH DECEMBER, 2009

VIJAY THAKUR RE-ELECTED UNOPPOSED PRESIDENT OF IATO FOR THE SECOND TERM
New Delhi, 14th December, 2009:- Elections of the Indian Association of Tour
Operators (IATO) held its National Committee elections on 12th December, 2009
at The Lalit, New Delhi. 145 members were present to cast their vote for the
elections. Voting took place for the post of Vice President, five posts of
Executive Committee Members (Active) and three posts of Executive Committee
Members (Allied). Other officers were elected un-opposed as there were no
contestants for those posts.
The new committee thus consists of:-

Mr. Arjun Sharma, Sr. Vice President

Mr. Pronab Sarkar, Vice President

Mr. Rajesh Mudgill, Hony. Secretary

Mr. Lally Mathews, Hony. Treasurer

Mr. Naresh Sharma

Mr. Praveen Chugh was the Returning Officer who conducted the elections very
efficiently and announced the election results on completion of the election
process.
